Anette Nordvall has been an active private tech investor for the past 30 years. She spent 17 years on the US East Coast in the North Carolina “Research Triangle Park” as an entrepreneur and business executive. Anette then returned to Sweden and became an active STOAF partner as well as a venture partner with early-stage deep tech Butterfly Venture (former Capital A Partners), a Nordic tech fund based on the east coast of the USA.
She is together with STOAF the co-founding board member for NordicBAN (Nordic Business Angel Network) and STOAF Associates. Anette is also Active Chairwoman of We Don’t Have Time – climate-action business and rating platform, and Chairwoman for the cyber security company Covr Security AB.
For the past year, Anette has actively participated in Keiretsu Forum Nordics’ Forum meetings as Chapter President and was recently appointed CEO.
In 2016, Anette received the full year Vinnova-Wallenberg Fellowship to Stanford University and Nordic Innovation House in Palo Alto, CA, USA. There she spent the year researching angel investing and common investment best practice values between the Nordic countries and Silicon Valley.
Anette was appointed by DI Digital as one of Sweden’s Most Powerful Tech-investors in 2015 and 2016, named as Nordic100 Most Influential Person 2017 and 2018, nominated as Pay-it-forward Investor 2017 at Swedish Start-up Gala, and was nominated as the Kindest Investor at the Venture Cup final 2018.
